OUR HORSE SUPPORTERS

GLAMOUR

TULLY

GLAMOUR is a beautiful rescue pony who has been with us for some time. Now rising 3 years old, she has been kindly sponsored by Jane.

Jane visits weekly to spend special time with Glamour, building trust and connection. Together they enjoy race play, stepping up onto the pedestal, and, of course, Glamour loves receiving treats. She is also learning to bow, showing just how clever she is.

Jane and Glamour have formed a truly special bond, and it is a joy to watch their friendship continue to grow.

TULLY is a sweet rising 4-year-old rescue pony who has been kindly sponsored by Caz.

Caz visits regularly whenever she can, spending special time with Tully to build trust and form a strong and lasting bond. Their relationship is progressing beautifully, and together they enjoy quiet moments that allow them to block out the outside world and grow in confidence side by side.

Watching Tully and Caz’s partnership develop is truly special.

BUNNY

SIMBA

BUNNY IS A 36 YEAR OLD MINIATURE PONY who's been here around 10 years, has had a grey face ever since he arrived and is a very cute little man.

Bunny has a tendency to choke due to his tiny size, which usually requires overnight stays at the vet hospital. Bunny is sponsored by Sue M and we appreciate the constant support.

SIMBA came to us as a rescue horse. Simba is a, elderly 30 year old who has Cushing's disease (a benign tumour of the Pituatory Gland) which is helped by daily prescribed tablets. We are very very thankful that Sue PJ is helping with the cost of medication for this beautiful boy who is really enjoying his old age.

Help make a difference

All donations received by Learn from Horses are used to deliver an equine assisted life coaching program to help disadvantaged individuals to develop emotional control and effective communication and body language skills. These basic skills are necessary to enable people to turn their aggression or anxiety into calm assertiveness. In particular, this program is producing good results with people, ranging from improved behaviour in school, reduced suspensions, gaining and maintaining employment and obtaining better engagement in the community.
Learn from Horses also provides gentle equine therapy to residents of Nursing Homes.

Donations over $2 are tax deductable
